This page explains what Nostos collects on nostosoutdoors.com, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the Get-Home test runs in your browser and sends us nothing. We only collect your email address if you ask for your Get-Home Plan, we use it to send you Nostos emails, and you can leave at any time.

What we collect and why
- Your Get-Home test answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
- Your email address and which plan you asked for (your weak spot from the test, for example "Heat"), when you sign up for your Get-Home Plan. We use them to send you your plan, then the Sunday Scenario once a week, with occasional offers for the paid Nostos membership, and to choose scenarios that fit your weak spot. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you enter your email and tap the sign-up button.
- Basic email activity, such as whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked, which our email service records automatically. We use it to keep emails out of spam folders and to see which skills people find useful. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in sending emails that arrive and are useful; you can object at any time by emailing us or unsubscribing.
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising trackers.
Who handles your data for us
- Kit (kit.com) stores the email list and sends our emails. Kit is based in the United States, so your address may be processed outside the EU. Kit says it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers (see kit.com/gdpr).
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to hello@nostosoutdoors.com. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Instagram (Meta) or TikTok, if you contact us there, under their own privacy policies.
We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and delete unsubscribed addresses within 12 months. If you'd like your address deleted sooner, email us and we'll do it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. To use any of these rights, email hello@nostosoutdoors.com.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Nostos isn't aimed at children. Please don't sign up if you're under the age of digital consent where you live.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced by email.
